The School of the Nations (SON) held its “Kindergarten Public Information Day” on Saturday, with the event attended by over 450 parents and prospective students, according to a statement from the school yesterday.

The statement noted that attendees took part in activities and guided campus tours. A key feature of the event was also a presentation of the kindergarten’s curriculum framework, which focuses on the four main domains of character development, language, science, and mathematics, and is designed to “holistically support young children’s growth in moral, social, and intellectual capacities”, the statement said.

SON Principal Vivek Nair highlighted during his opening remarks the school’s dedication to nurturing core qualities in students –  such as honesty, kindness, fairness, and selflessness –  while fostering an understanding of hope, true joy, and the interconnectedness of the human family. This foundation aims to inspire students’ intrinsic motivation for learning and to guide them towards a life of purpose and service to society, Nair noted.
