A 73-year-old local man was shot in the abdomen during live firing practice at the Public Security Forces’ (FSM) shooting range in Coloane around midday yesterday, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said.
According to the bureau, the man was shot during live round firing practice, resulting in a one-centimetre-long wound. He was admitted to the public Conde de Sao Januario Hospital Centre (CHCSJ) for treatment.According to the Public Security Police (PSP), the injury was possibly caused by the unintentional discharge of a firearm. The case has been transferred to the Judiciary Police (PJ) for further investigation.
