Sands China will launch the “Just One” programme in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), giving its hotel guests the opportunity to contribute to the funding of two projects run by the world’s leading conservation organisation – a biomass fuel stove project for a rural area in the mainland and a local campaign which aims to raise awareness of environmental protection among local pupils.
The WWF, set up in 1961, is headquartered in Switzerland.“Just One” is a scheme in which guests at the Venetian and Parisian are invited to donate US$1 to the two projects for every night they stay at either hotel.
