Man nabbed for cheating 7 women out of 138,300 patacas

The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man on Monday on suspicion of two separate scam cases in which half a dozen mainland women and a local woman lost a total of 138,300 patacas, PJ spokesman Tam Weng Keong said during a regular press conference yesterday.

The suspect told the women that he could help them find work in Macau, and that he could assist them in purchasing flight tickets and hotel packages at discounted prices.

Tam identified the suspect as a 29-year-old casino dealer surnamed Kou.
