Jimmy O. Yang’s 2-night CNY show draws huge crowds

Integrated resort operator Galaxy Macau said in a statement on Thursday that Hong Kong-American stand-up comedian Jimmy O. Yang’s Chinese New Year (CNY) shows on February 21 and 22 brought the festive event to over 18,000 audience member at the Galaxy Arena in Cotai.

“Galaxy Macau Presents: The Jimmy O. Yang Chinese New Year Show” saw Yang, 38, returning to Macau. The statement said that the event featured a star-studded lineup of guests joining the comedian on stage, including Hong Kong-born international pop star Jackson Wang (王嘉爾), Cantopop legend Wan Kwong and Hong Kong R&B singer Tyson Yoshi (程浚彥). Cantonese stand-up comedian Kong Chiho was the opening act for the two-night show.

The statement added that both nights were also interactive, adding that “interactions between the guests and Jimmy’s continual dialogue of humour-meets-talk show style sparked waves of laughter from the audience”

Yang, born Au Yeung Man Sing to Shanghainese parents, first performed in Macau in July 2025 at the 2,500 seat Broadway Theatre at Broadway Macau in Cotai. As an actor, Yang has played various roles in TV shows and films, while his YouTube channel boasts a large following of over two million subscribers.
