Integrated resort operator Wynn Macau Limited hosted the “Wynn’s Shining Talents Ceremony 2026” on March 2 to kick off the ”Wynn Local Development Program 2026” and recognise the achievements of its previous trainees.

The event was held at Wynn Macau.

The programme, which covers 13 sub-programmes, is a collaboration between the integrated resort operator and the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL), the company noted in a statement earlier this week.

During her speech at the recent ceremony, Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace Senior Vice President of Human Resources Stephanie So (蘇家雯) said, as summarised by the statement, that the partnership with the bureau to launch specialised recruitment programmes enables the company to attract young talent to the hospitality industry with a targeted approach, broadening the company’s reach and enhancing talent training programmes.

The statement noted that over the past two years, the development programme has recruited 169 local trainees and achieved an overall retention rate of over 80 percent. Moreover, the statement said that “40 trainees have graduated and received a promotion, while others are undergoing structured on-the-job training and are expected to complete the programme starting this year”.

The statement added that programme trainees take on 12–36-month specialised training across various departments, with this year seeing two more areas, namely information technology and customer relationship management.

The recent event also saw a commencement ceremony held for the inaugural Wynn Management Foundation Program, which the statement said offers a 12-month curriculum to over 80 local staff who are “high-potential leadership talent selected from the food & beverage and hotel departments at manager, assistant manager, supervisor or equivalent levels”.

The statement said that the initiative aims to broaden local talent’s global perspective and enhance their leadership and team management skills, as well as expand the talent pool for Macau’s tourism and leisure sector while strengthening local management capabilities.
