Integrated resort Studio City Macau has launched a Thailand-themed buffet experience at its Spotlight restaurant in Cotai, offering a wide selection of Southeast Asian dishes as part of its ongoing push to enhance Macau’s culinary appeal, according to a recent statement by Studio City.

The “World on A Plate – The Taste of Thailand Buffet” is running at the integrated resort until May 8, which coincided with celebrations of the Songkran Festival. The festival, also known as Thai New Year, was celebrated between Monday and Wednesday.

The themed buffet features nearly 100 Thai dishes representing different regions of Thailand, including Chiang Mai night market barbecue, Bangkok Chinatown specialties, and Phuket seafood selections.

Signature items such as boat noodles and traditional Thai desserts are also included, alongside international offerings like fresh oysters, seafood on ice, sashimi and live-cut whole yellowfin tuna.

According to the statement, a highlight of the event is the appearance of Thai guest chef Bansani Nawisamphan, who brings over two decades of culinary experience. He is collaborating with the in-house team until tomorrow to deliver an experience that blends authentic Thai flavours with a focus on balanced and wellness-orientated cuisine, the statement noted.

In addition to dining, guests attending the dinner buffet can take part in a complimentary workshop from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., where they can learn to prepare mango sticky rice, one of Thailand’s iconic desserts, the statement noted.

The buffet is available daily between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., priced at 628 patacas per adult and 318 patacas for children aged 6 to 12.

Moreover, Melco Beyond members can enjoy a 10 percent discount or a “buy three, get one free” offer. More information can be found by visiting
