The Legislative Assembly Electoral Affairs Committee (CAEAL) has so far discovered 14 registered voters who have signed more than one election candidature nomination form among the eight applications received, CAEAL President Tong Hio Fong said yesterday.
Each nomination form must be signed by a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 500 registered voters. According to the law, each registered voter can only sign one nomination form.
The direct and indirect legislative elections will take place on September 17.
