A total of four groups, two of which will be headed by grassroots lawmakers Ng Kuok Cheong and Au Kam San respectively, submitted the registered voters’ signatures they have collected to the Legislative Assembly Electoral Affairs Committee (CAEAL) yesterday.
The third group’s representative, Chan Chon Pat, chairman of the Alliance for Common People Building Up Macau (API), and the fourth group’s representative Tong Noi Tong, director of lawmakers Chan Meng Kam, Si Ka Lon and Song Pek Kei’s joint office, submitted the signature lists to the committee earlier yesterday.The committee will verify the signatures and other information submitted by the groups before formally accepting them.
