The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) and the CETT Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy*, affiliated with the University of Barcelona (CETT-UB), signed a cooperation agreement on Monday, aiming to boost academic collaboration, knowledge sharing, and exchange opportunities for students and faculty.
The statement said that the agreement was signed on the first-phase campus of the Macao-Hengqin International Education (University) Town.
According to the statement, the partnership framework for cooperation covers student and faculty exchanges, academic development activities, and projects of mutual interest, among other strategic areas.
The agreement was signed by UTM Acting Rector Connie Loi Kim Ieng and CETT-UB Corporate Development Director David Peguero Manzanares, the statement noted.
The statement highlighted that agreement reaffirms both institutions’ “commitment to fostering educational excellence, promoting cross-cultural understanding, and contributing to the sustainable and innovative development of the global tourism and hospitality sector”.
