According to Cheong, a man called 999 for help at about 9:30 p.m. on Monday, saying a man had hit him with a bottle of wine in a supermarket in Rua do Canal Novo in Areia Preta.
Cheong said when a PSP officer arrived at the scene, an agitated man was waving a bottle of wine and hit the officer on the right wrist when he was told to put the bottle down.
