Panellists and members of the audience at yesterday’s Macau Forum slammed the “harsh” measures implemented recently in an attempt by the government to control the number of vehicles in the city.
The weekly open-air debate is hosted by government-owned broadcaster TDM in Areia Preta Park every Sunday.
Yesterday’s forum discussed a raft of measures carried out by the Transport Bureau (DSAT), including a hike in vehicle-related charges and parking meter rates, since the beginning of this year.
