All typhoon signals were lowered yesterday evening, the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) announced.

Tropical Cyclone Roke did not cause any damage in the city.

The bureau hoisted the No. 1 typhoon signal on Saturday afternoon. However, all ferry and helicopter services were suspended from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. yesterday as the Hong Kong Observatory had hoisted the No. 8 signal yesterday morning, causing a number of travellers to be stuck at the ferry terminals for several hours.
