Political activists Lam Meng and Kuong Kai Nang petitioned the Legislative Assembly Electoral Affairs Committee (CAEAL) yesterday, urging the committee to promote a clean and fair election.

The direct and indirect legislative elections will take place on September 17.

Neither of them is running in the upcoming elections. Four years ago, Lam ran under the banner of activist Lee Kin Yun, commonly known as “Street Fighter” while Kuong was one of the candidates in Lee’s group in 2005.
