Seven microfilms produced by the Macau Breastfeeding & Nurturing Promotion Association (APACIM) offering seven different perspectives on the importance of community support to help mothers sustain breastfeeding will be released one a day from today on different media platforms to mark World Breastfeeding Week.

This year is the 25th anniversary of World Breastfeeding Week (WBW), which is organised by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA).

According to a string of studies and research, breastfeeding has a number of benefits for both mother and baby, which infant formula lacks.

This photo provided by APACIM shows a makeshift nursing room for the shooting of its microfilms to be released from today.
