Ambrose So blames ‘bad luck’ for profit dip

SJM Chairman Ambrose So Shu Fai said yesterday that it was “bad luck” that his gaming company suffered a dip in profit in the first half of this year.

SJM’s profit fell 12.9 percent year on year, according to a stock exchange filing released on Tuesday.

So made the comment while speaking to reporters after hosting the 13th Annual SJM Scholarship Awards where the company gave out scholarships to 40 children of its employees.
