Amateur boxers from Hong Kong, Macau, the mainland and Taiwan took to the ring at Macao Boxing House’s “Original Intention” fight card on Saturday night and what they might lack in the skills of Manny Pacquiao, Zou Shiming or even Macau’s Ng Kuok Kun they made up for in passion.
Saturday night was Macao Boxing House’s third amateur boxing night and the popularity of the event has gone from strength to strength.
The nine bout card was fought out in Macao Boxing House’s gym near Triangle Gardens to a full house of over 200 enthusiastic fight fans, including Thai boxing promoter Naris Singwencha, of Naris Boxing Promotions, who was the main sponsor of the event.
