The Health Bureau (SSM) on Saturday announced one more locally-infected dengue fever case, the sixth case reported in Macau this year.
The statement said the patient is a 36-year-old local woman who lives in a residential flat in Tim Wai Building in Rua da Praia do Manduco, which is near Kam Long Building where the previous five reported dengue fever patients live or work.
The statement said the patient went to Zhuhai on August 9 and returned to Macau the next day. Dengue fever symptoms appeared on August 12 and she consulted doctors at the private Kiang Wu Hospital on that day, the statement said, adding the patient’s condition then improved.
