The Lands, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) yesterday opened the sealed bids for the design and construction of the Trade and Economic Cooperation Service-Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Complex, the bureau announced yesterday, adding the cost of the complex could, according to the rival bids, range from 598 million to 1.06 billion patacas.
A statement by the bureau said the construction was expected to start this year, adding the construction period could last between 550 and 600 days, according to the bids.
According to the statement, the complex will be located near the Legislative Assembly (AL) building in Nam Van and cover an area of about 14,000 square metres.
