Wynn Resorts (Macau) President and Executive Director Linda Chen said yesterday that her company has set aside 15 million patacas to help local micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) hit hard by Super Typhoon Hato to get back on their feet.
Chen made the announcement in a speech for the launch ceremony of the “Wynn Local SME Network” and the “Wynn Local SME Procurement Partnership Programme – Business Matching Session for Micro Enterprises, ‘Made in Macau’ and Young Entrepreneurs”, held at Wynn Macau.
Chen said that the new Wynn Local SME Network aims to “effectively link up the power from different sectors to construct a network of local micro enterprises and SMEs, by leveraging collaborative support from the [local] government, chambers of commerce and local communities to further facilitate the development of local SMEs.”
