A report compiled by the University of Macau (UM) released yesterday shows that local telecom operator CTM provides the best Internet service compared to two Internet service providers (ISP) in Hong Kong and one in the mainland.
The report was presented yesterday by Philip Chen Chun-lung, the dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the University of Macau, during the Digital Macau Forum organised by CTM on the UM campus.
Presenting the report “Research Report of Network Quality Status in Macau”, Chen did not name the two Hong Kong ISPs and the mainland ISP, merely referring to them as HK1, HK2 and CN.
