The overall residential property price index in the third quarter rose by 1.3 percent quarter-to-quarter, which marked the sixth consecutive quarter of growth, and yet showed a slowdown from the 3.7 percent increase in the previous quarter, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement yesterday.
The indices for the peninsula and Taipa/Coloane rose by 1.3 percent and 1.1 percent respectively.
The index for existing residential units grew by 1.6 percent quarter-to-quarter, with the index for the peninsula rising by 0.9 percent and that for Taipa/Coloane increasing by 4.2 percent.
