The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) announced that the city would host the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards in 2018 and 2019, during a press conference in Wynn Palace last week.

Editor of the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants William Drew said that after hosting the awards in Singapore and Bangkok for two years and three years respectively, Macau would be the next hosting destination, adding that Macau’s diverse culinary culture reflects the city’s rich history.

The Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list was launched in 2002 by William Reed Business Media. The group also publishes Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, which was launched in 2013.
