The Macau Light Festival 2017 – AMOR MACAU was unveiled at the Ruins of St. Paul last night, kicking off a string of events and festivities to fill this whole month with new elements of tourism and leisure.

“Amor” means “love” in Portuguese, Spanish and other Romance languages.

Themed “Wish-Making under the Stars”, the opening ceremony featured a show choreographed and performed by a local dance troupe. The opening kicked off an array of projection mapping shows and light installations at eight local tourist attractions
