Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) Deputy Director Ng Wai Han said yesterday that there are currently 200 vacancies for delivery drivers that prospective employers have placed with her bureau.

Ng made the remarks while speaking to reporters yesterday on the sidelines of government-owned broadcaster TDM’s Macau Forum in Areia Preta Park.

Ng said that during a two-day recruitment and job matching day for delivery drivers organised by her bureau on Friday and Saturday, nine residents were hired by employers, while another 19 residents passed the “first round” of interviews. She added she believes the latter also will get the jobs they are seeking.
