Suspended lawmaker Sulu Sou Ka Hou tried to hand his written questions and views to Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario on the sidelines of yesterday’s plenum in the legislature’s hemicycle.
Yesterday was the second and final day of a Q&A session about Rosario’s portfolio policy guidelines for next year. Sou made the move during a break in the session. However, Rosario did not accept Sou’s envelope.
According to Chinese-language media reports, Rosario told reporters that “[in order to] respect the legislature, [Sou] should hand it [the envelope] to the legislature”.
