Macau gets new free public wireless service

Cooperating with different Internet service providers, the Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) launched its free Wi-Fi hotspot – FreeWiFi.MO – at the Communications Museum in Estrada D. Maria II yesterday.

The three Internet service providers cooperating with the scheme are CTM, Y5zone MACAU, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Wi-Fi hotspot providerY5zone, and WIFI GUIDE.

The bureau and its three partners have set up the free Wi-Fi hotspots at different locations in the city in order to provide citizens and visitors with an easy way to enjoy a free wireless service in the city, according to a CTT statement.
