A man and a woman suffered second-degree burns in an alleged arson attack yesterday afternoon, according to a statement by the Judiciary Police (PJ) yesterday.
According to the statement, the incident took place at a hardware shop in Rua de Martinho Montenegro at around 4 p.m. yesterday.
According to the statement, yesterday afternoon a man went to the shop, where the female owner, a female staff member and several customers were inside. The man stayed in the store after the other customers left. He then pushed the female staff member out of the shop and immediately closed the shop’s electric shutter, trapping the owner inside with him.
