The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) Food Safety Centre yesterday seized 127 bottles of red wine believed to been affected by the floods caused by Super Typhoon Hato in August, according to a statement released by the IACM.

The statement said that in a regular inspection yesterday, Food Safety Centre officials visiting a bar of Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel in Rua da Caldeira discovered a number of bottles of red wine with traces of mud on them. According to the statement, the inspectors assumed that the bottles were affected by floodwaters during the typhoon.

After confiscating the 127 bottles, the inspectors disposed of the wine on the spot.
