The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a man from the mainland on Sunday for loan sharking, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Ho Chan Nam said during a regular press conference at the PJ headquarters in Zape yesterday.
Ho identified the suspect as a 47-year-old mainlander surnamed Wan, who claimed to be unemployed while the victim is a woman also from the mainland surnamed Li.
It was not revealed how the two had met each other.
