A man was arrested yesterday over a robbery and fraud case that took place in Thailand seven years ago, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman said yesterday during a special press conference in Zape.
The spokesman identified the suspect as a 54-year-old Chinese American surnamed Zeng, who claimed to be a businessman. The victim is a businessman from the mainland whose surname was not revealed.
According to the spokesman, in June 2011 the victim and three business partners met Zeng in Thailand.
