The local government, in collaboration with its Guangdong counterpart, will launch an internship scheme for young local people aged between 18 and 29 during this year’s summer holidays, the Talents Development Committee said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, the launching of the scheme is to fulfil one of the eight agreements – Joint Organisation of the Guangdong-Macau Summer Internship Scheme – signed between the two governments earlier this year.
The eight agreements to diversify cooperation were signed in Guangzhou last month during the annual Guangdong-Macau Cooperation Joint Conference.
