The government should release more detailed information about its ideas on how to ensure that the city’s so-called visual corridors – proposed by the government for the ongoing public consultation on the drafting of a protection and management plan for the Historic Centre of Macau – will be properly protected, Ron Lam U Tou, who heads local think tank Macau Synergy, said yesterday.
Lam, a current affairs commentator, made the remarks during a telephone interview with The Macau Post Daily.
The government launched a two-month public consultation on January 20 on the drafting of an official plan for the protection and management of the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of Macau.
