A taxi driver has been caught for keeping a passenger’s belongings left behind in his cab, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Wong Wai Chon said during a regular press conference in Zape yesterday.
Wong identified the suspect as a local man surnamed Cheong in his 60s while the victim is a local woman, whose personal information was not released.
According to Wong, the woman got into the taxi in Avenida de Lisboa and asked to be taken to the Barrier Gate on Tuesday. After getting out of the taxi, she realised that she had left her handbag in the cab, and hence called the police to report what had happened.
