Macao Orchestra (OM) will be holding a prenatal music concert for all parents-to-be with “Baby’s First Musical Experience” next Saturday.
The concert’s information says it is widely known that music plays an important role in prenatal education, as it can stimulate foetal auditory nerves (hearing), laying a foundation for developing the baby’s interest in music and cultivating its imagination.
But with a wide range of classical music, what genre and style are considered as a good prenatal music? MO has designed a specific musical programme for a prenatal concert so that will bring an experience of joy to the parents-to-be and their babies.
