The Parisian Macao will be holding the Light The Night Run at the Eiffel Tower replica in Cotai on April 28, and yesterday the US gaming company kicked off the charitable event by getting local athletes, boxer Ng Kuok Kun aka KK and triathlete Chi Wai Kuok, to run the 750 steps up to the 37th floor observation deck finish line.

Before the runners set off there was a show with dancers twirling light swords accompanied by a violinist and speeches by Sands China President Wilfred Wong Ying Wai and CEO and Macau Special Olympics Director Hetzer Siu Yu Hong.

At a press conference at the tower yesterday, Wong said that this would be the first charity run to take place at The Parisian Macao and it would be a family fun day that would include a day of sport, wellness activities, music and food and drink starting at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.
