The grassroots New Macau Association (NMA) yesterday criticised the government for failing to propose any details – such as officially-required height limits and morphology for buildings in different areas – in the public consultation document for its ongoing public consultation on the drafting of a Historic Centre of Macau protection and management plan.
The association made the criticism during a press conference at its office in the Inner Harbour area.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) launched a two-month public consultation on January 20 on the drafting of an official plan for the protection and management of the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of Macau. The public consultation will end on Tuesday.
