A man from Hong Kong and a man from the mainland were arrested yesterday for drug trafficking, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday during a special press conference in the PJ headquarters in Zape.
The spokesperson identified the suspects, who are cousins, as a 30-year-old driver from Hong Kong, surnamed Wong, and a 37-year-old waiter from the mainland, surnamed Liao.
The spokesperson said that the police last week received a tip-off about two men selling drugs in Fai Chi Kei district. After investigating, the police identified them as Wong and Liao.
