An off-duty Public Security Office (PSP) officer entered a casino – breaching the casino entry ban for public servants – on Monday, the website of the Secretariat for Security (GSS) said yesterday.
During a police investigation, the officer was also found entering the same casino last Friday while off-duty and stole chips that a gambler had left on a gaming table, the website said. The gambler decided to not take legal action against the chip theft.
According to the GSS website, the Public Security Police are concerned about officers violating the casino entry ban for public servants. The Public Security Police launched a disciplinary procedure against the officer yesterday.
