The Department of International Marketing for Greater China of Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism plans to send a delegation of Indonesian tour and travel business owners and professionals to Macau and Hong Kong next month to set up cooperation arrangements with the two special administrative regions’ tour and travel operators.

There is still no exact date but the trip to Macau is planned to take place towards the end of April, Anggara Kusuma Pradoko, the department’s spokesperson, told The Macau Post Daily in Bali last week shortly before a group of Hong Kong and Macau media representatives took a flight to Labuan Bojo to continue their fact-finding trip which ended on Friday.

“We would like to establish [tour] business-to-business cooperation between Indonesia and Macau as well as Hong Kong,” Pradoko said, pointing out that his department is taking serious action to not just promote Indonesia to Macau residents as a travel destination but also to work hard on the launch of promotion tours as soon as possible.
