Central People’s Government Liaison Office in Macau Director Zheng Xiaosong has urged local lawmakers to always stick to their political stance of loving the country and Macau.
The office said in a statement yesterday that Zheng made the remarks during a Spring Festival dinner with the city’s lawmakers at the San Chok Un Guesthouse (“New Bamboo Mansion”) on Penha Hill on Tuesday night.
According to the statement, 29 lawmakers, including Legislative Assembly (AL) President Ho Iat Seng, attended the dinner. Four lawmakers were absent. The statement did not identify the four legislators.
