The weekly night market around the Inner Harbour area’s Hong Kung Temple and along Rua de Cinco de Outubro will be amped up this weekend with food, craft workshops and performances from the Portuguese-speaking world.
The Hong Kung Night Market, held every weekend, has been livening up the sleepy neighbourhood for a few years now and has gained popularity because besides the usual fish ball and grilled food hawkers, visitors can find some classic Macau snacks such as maltose crackers that are sure to bring back some good old childhood memories.
There are also stalls selling old-school toys and games like the wire loop game that altogether recreate that old Macau, “human touch” atmosphere.
