Taiwanese special education teacher Freddy Chu Chih-kuang said yesterday it was important to understand why a child feels what he or she feels.
Yesterday was 2018 World Autism Awareness Day, and the Macau Autism Association organised a series of activities aiming to increase public awareness about the developmental disorder throughout this month.
Chu made the remarks during a talk for parents whose children have special needs, about understanding children’s emotions, at Macau Science Centre.
