The Legislative Assembly (AL) yesterday passed the outline of a government-initiated bill on the establishment of a non-political municipal organisation in Macau. The bill proposes that all the members of its administrative committee and of its consultative committee be appointed by the chief executive.
The bill proposes that the municipal organisation be established on January 1, 2019 when the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) is to be abolished.
