The Judiciary Police (PJ) said in a statement that they are investigating a suspected arson case outside a residential building in Ha Van district yesterday.
Ha Van is the Chinese name for the Praia do Manduco neighbourhood in the Inner Harbour area near Barra.
According to the statement, a resident living on the third floor of the building saw something burning on a canopy on the first floor at around 6:45 a.m. yesterday. Firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze. No one was injured in the incident, the statement said.
