Health Bureau (SSM) Acting Director Cheang Seng Ip said yesterday that the government still does not have a timetable as to when the public hospital project in Cotai, officially known as Cotai Health Complex, will be completed, nor does it have a total budget for the project.
He added that the government can only come up with a timetable for the completion of the whole project after the completion of the bidding process for the construction of the various buildings of the project.
Cheang made the remarks when replying to an oral interpellation directly-elected lawmaker Wong Kit Cheng during a plenary session of the legislature.
