Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario said yesterday that the government has authorised the merger of two of Macau’s three public bus operators.
Rosario made the remarks during a Q&A session in the legislature’s hemicycle yesterday. He said that according to the government’s public bus agreements, the city’s bus operators can apply to merge.
Consequently, according to Rosario, TCM and New Era could apply to the government to merge, noting that the request has already been approved by the government.
