A man charged with a speeding offence was caught trying to enter the court with a knife on Monday, a Public Security Police (PSP) spokesperson in Zape said yesterday.
The spokesperson identified the suspect as a local man in his twenties surnamed Ho, who is a chef.
According to the spokesperson, Ho went to the Court of First Instance in Avenida Doutor Stanley Ho on Monday afternoon for the speeding case. When he was passing through a security check, it was found that he was carrying a 22-centimetre-long knife in his bag. The court security staff called the police, who arrived and later arrested Ho.
