Penghu County Magistrate Chen Kuang-fu said yesterday that the charter flight between Hong Kong and Penghu available from August would also benefit Macau residents.
Chen made the remarks during a meeting with a Macau media delegation of 20 currently on a visit there as part of a five-day trip to Kaohsiung and Penghu, organised by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Macau.
Chen noted that there are several festivals in Penghu throughout the year, attracting scores of domestic and overseas visitors to enjoy the Taiwan Strait archipelago that is a member of The Club of The Most Beautiful Bays in the World, a non-profit organisation based in France.
