In two joint operations last week, the Customs Service and the Public Security Police (PSP) arrested two ticket scalpers, the two law enforcement agencies said in a joint statement on Friday.

According to the statement, the two agencies conducted the two operations last Tuesday and Thursday against pick-pocketing and ticket scalping activities at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and Pac On Ferry Terminal. The operations included raids on 14 shops and the questioning of 52 men and women. A total of nine men were taken in for further questioning about a range of alleged crimes.

According to the statement, seven of the nine men, one of them an overstayer, allegedly harassed ferry passengers. The statement did not elaborate on the alleged harassment by the suspects.
